Re-Vita LiquaSpirulina
Named for its
perfect spiral coils that call to mind the human DNA it nourishes, spirulina
is often called a “Superfood” because
of its remarkable concentration of nutrients. A veritable cornucopia of health
and vitality,
spirulina is packed with protein, beta-carotene, natural iron, vital trace
minerals (including zinc, manganese, copper and selenium), the rare essential
fatty acid GLA—plus plentiful vitamin E, and the richest source of vitamin
B-12 in the plant kingdom.
This makes spirulina a perfect whole-food alternative to expensive vitamin
and mineral pills that are virtually useless in isolation.
A boon to vegetarians, as well as anyone seeking to lower their cholesterol
and prevent or alleviate arthritis by reducing meat consumption, spirulina
is up to 70% protein and is almost twice as high as its nearest comparison,
soybeans—and at least three-times more than beef, fish or eggs.
Superfood
This lovely water plant has also evolved on our watery planet to provide the
entire family of B-vitamin complex, as well as beta-carotene—a powerful
antioxidant that strengthens eyesight, and protects and heals sun-damaged skin.
Besides being Mother Nature's richest source of antioxidants, spirulina is
also her best whole-food source of chlorophyll, offering 5 to 30 times more
of this life-giving green pigment than alfalfa or wheat grass.
With many clinical trials showing adequate daily intake of vitamin E to be
an effective bulwark against cancer and heart disease, spirulina is three-times
richer in “E” than raw wheat germ. Not only is spirulina the leading
plant in providing natural vitamin E, its biological activity in the body is
49% greater than synthetic copies.
And that’s not all. Spirulina provides quick energy – Most proteins
are not considered quick-energy foods because they are so difficult to digest.
Spirulina on the other hand, provides a fast boost of energy because it does
not require as much digestion. While most plants store their energy as carbohydrates
which the body then must convert to glycogen for energy, spirulina stores its
energy as glycogen, so less digestion is required for the body to obtain immediate
energy. Research indicates that spirulina may be helpful when used by athletes
to increase circulation and stimulate the production of adrenaline and insulin.
Outdoors people have relied on spirulina as a survival food because it is compact,
high in protein and an instant source of nourishment.
Spirulina is a natural appetite suppressant – In the U.S., more and more
people are successfully using spirulina to lose weight. Spirulina contains
the amino acid phenylalanine, thought by scientists to act directly on the
appetite center of the brain. According to Dr. Raymond Galloway, former Professor
of Botany at the University of Maryland, “spirulina is chock-full of
all the nutrients necessary to maintain good health, while suppressing appetite.”
Our cold-process preserves living enzymes. Re-Vita’s LiquaSpirulina and
related LiquaHealth are taken in liquid form to insure instant assimilation
without the elimination that wastes synthetic vitamins and minerals taken in
tablet form.
Though long-overlooked by drug-obsessed medical science, several peer-reviewed
scientific studies now show Spirulina has the ability to inhibit the reproduction
of viruses, strengthen the immune system, and actually trigger the regression
of cancers.
Special Needs Easily Filled
Vegetarians will be pleased to obtain their needed protein and natural Vitamin
B-12 in Re-Vita’s LiquaSpirulina.
Diabetics, as well as parents dealing with hyperactive children, will also
be drawn to Re-Vita’s LiquaSpirulina and LiquaHealth for their remarkable
ability to stabilize blood sugar levels. The natural fructose in each serving
supplies sweetness equivalent to a single apple. If you are an insulin dependent
diabetic or type 2 diabetic, we advise you to consult with your physician before
taking our Re-Vita LiquaHealth or LiquaSpirulina.
Iron deficiency anemia in mothers and children is another prevalent nutritional
disorder that can be addressed by daily servings of LiquaSpirulina. Unlike
risky synthetic substitutes, no harm and much benefit comes from consuming
nature's richest whole-food source of organic iron. Do you like spinach? Spirulina
is 58-times richer in iron than raw spinach, 28-times richer than raw beef
liver. Pregnant women can use spirulina's vegetable protein and easily digested
natural iron without concern for dosage or downside. Neither is a factor in
the food called spirulina.
Meanwhile, we are all getting older. As we age many of us don't eat properly
or enough. Perhaps we are on a restricted diet, or struggling with poor digestion.
Too often, the result is a daily lack of energy just when we need it most.
Spirulina’s powerful anti-aging properties rebuild healthy lactobacillus
in our stomachs, aiding digestion and relieving constipation. Older folks really
notice an energy boost after drinking Re-Vita’s LiquaSpirulina.
Purity And Pretenders
With growing concern over our polluted rivers and ponds, just how “pure” is
spirulina?
Try 100%!
In a controlled environment, spirulina is grown in clean water -- free from
any possibility of lead or mercury contamination.
LiquaSpirulina can be safely stored without refrigeration, and will retain
its full nutritional benefits for up to 3 years.
Keep Close To Children
LiquaSpirulina "May Be Kept Within The Reach of Children". LiquaSpirulina
is suitable for young and old, as well as the malnourished and infirm. Children
benefit from taking concentrated “foods” as healthy as Re-Vita’s.
Even taking multiple servings to address illness or energy deficiency, digestion
is never a concern. Spirulina’s unmatched digestibility co-efficient
of 95% means that its freely formed amino acids are assimilated throughout
your body almost instantaneously. But instead of the usual vitamin “buzz”,
regular users of Re-Vita’s LiquaSpirulina report a sense of increased
well-being from individual cells being properly fed.
Lucky Pets
If you’ve been inside a pet store, you might have noticed that spirulina
has long been a popular food for fish, birds, and other pets. In fact, aquaculture-raised
fish and prawns, tropical fish, ornamental birds, horses and even cats and
dogs, consume much of the world’s current spirulina production.
Used by many cultures for thousands of years, during the 1970s spirulina was “rediscovered” in
Asia, where it deepened the striking colors of feeding koi carp. Fish and prawn
farmers also discovered that spirulina improved growth rates, survival, and
color, while reducing the need for medications.
Zoos now feed their flamingos a spirulina diet, after noticing millions of
wild pink flamingos living on this floating plant in East African lakes. Ornamental
bird breeders also use Spirulina to enhance color, health, and fertility in
their flocks. Small amounts added to diets of young turkeys and chickens help
build disease resistance, reducing the need for antibiotics. In reptiles, spirulina
improves skin gloss and disease resistance. For thoroughbred racehorses, this
wondrous food improves their speed and recovery.
If you give spirulina to your own dog or cat, you will soon notice fresher
breath and a more lustrous coat. Older animals may regain their flexibility.
It wasn’t long before pet owners and fish and poultry farmers started
asking, “What will spirulina do for me?”
Try a month’s supply and discover spirulina’s benefits for yourself.
Unlike most vitamin preparations, LiquaSpirulina can be taken on an empty stomach.
